Uniform Days
Monday – Friday – School Wear (Summer/Winter School Wear)
PE Days – Blue Shorts, Golf Shirt, White Socks and White Takkies (Wear the Uitsig Tracksuit on Winter or Cold days)
Please note: Learners must adhere to the code of conduct to avoid demerits. They must wear the correct uniform and are not permitted to wear jeans, takkies or T-shirts on Fridays.
School Wear and General Appearance
Learners should be neatly dressed in their school uniforms daily, unless otherwise determined by the Principal. White vests may be worn under school clothes on cold days but no other colours. Please mark all School items.
Learner’s Hair
Hair – Girls
- Clean and neat style.
- Hair may not be hang in the eyes when bending forward. If it does it has to be pinned.
- Hair must be pinned or tied back if it touches the collar of the uniform.
- No punk styles, oil, gel etc. To keep hair in place.
- Ribbons, Alice bands and bobbles must be blue, yellow and/or white.
- Pins must be unadorned and metal.
- Hair may only be tied up with the above.
- Ponies, chignons and braids must all be tied to the back and a fringe must be approximately 1 cm above the eyebrows.
Hair – Boys
- Short, clean and neat style.
- Hair may not touch the ears or collar.
- Fringe must be at least 1 cm above the eyebrows.
- No punk or Afro styles, dread locks or styling products e.g. gel, oil or sugar may be used.
Jewellery
Girls
- Metal studs and sleepers, no larger than 5 mm in diameter.
- No rings, except signet rings may be worn.
- No make-up.
- Only one stud/ring per ear.
- No other body piercing allowed.
- No chains or bracelets (excluding SOS).
- Eyebrows may not be plucked.
Boys
- No jewellery.
- No chains, earrings, rings or bracelets (excluding SOS).
- Nails must be short and clean.
Learner’s Nails
- Nails of both boys and girls must be short and well cared for.
- Polished nails are not allowed.

- School Netball Uniforms will be supplied by the school at a hiring fee.

School Outfitters
Dresses, Jerseys, Pullovers, Scarves and Tracksuits can be purchased from our approved uniform suppliers. These generally last for about 3 years.
Boy’s Grey Shirts, Grey Shorts and Grey Socks can be purchased at Jet, Ackermans, PEP or Woolworths.
