Uitsig Primary School is nestled right in the heart of The Reeds, a suburb in Centurion. Uitsig first opened its doors in 1993 with Mr Gert P. Smith as the first principal.
He retired in 2015 after 22 years of service. Mr Gerhard Swart, the current deputy principal was appointed as Acting Principal in the interim. Mr Swart handed over the reigns of the school into the very capable hands of Mrs Musa Hlongwane on the 1st of February 2017.

The new premises and buildings that we still use today were occupied on 12th January 1994, with 365 pupils. In 2014 there were 1118 registered learners, including 119 Grade
